| Hello Forum,
Im quite new to your site but have to admit im very impressed!!
Just wondering if anyone remembers ismails restaurant (opposite the half built building) on the main coastal road it used to be very popular with the locals and i have to admit their lamb was really something special!! When i went back last year the restaurant was still there but the name had changed and there were new owners. Does anyone know what happened to Ismails restaurant or if they have opened another restaurant as it would be great to see them again! |

| This sounds like Hillside in Lapta and Ismail was good as was his food.
Set back with a car park and a veranda just above the road. |

It used to be called ismails Restaurant, I had many a good meal there just a shame he packed up and left! Does anyone know if he opened a new restaurant elsewhere? |

| I saw Ismail in Kyrenia last week. He is currently working at Set Fish in the Harbour. He is a lovely man and it's such a shame that the restaurant in Lapta closed. |

Met ismail last October, he was working in (Set Italian Restaurant) just up from the harbour on a back street very near what used to be the Irish bar now i believe being run by some Scottich Girls???? He goes in there sometimes. If you meet him say hello from Angela/Arthur from Ireland. Will be over there in June.
