Hi folks we have bought appartment on seaterra reserve site,Just got e-mail from our solicitor informing us that as of january a new regulation has been past requiring all new sales contracts to be registered before april and that as we are not going to be in north cyprus before april we will have to pay our solicitor £221 to do this for us.

We feel disapointed that the vendors seem to have washed there hands of this problem and left us to sort it,Just wondered if any others are experiencing the same problem?

If we all get together maybe we could apply a little pressure on seaterra to help us out.

All post's with ideas will be welcome.

Thanks.

Have a look at the thread 'New Legislative Law' which is all about the new law and being ripped off.

SEE NEW POSTING ON TRNC VILLA OWNERS SITE IT WOULD APPEAR THAT AND OLD LAW HAS BEEN EXTENDED

IF YOUR AGRREEMENT ON OR BEFORE DEC 2004 YOU ONLY PAY 7%

WE NEED TO THANK "ELKO" FOR SHEDDING LIGHT ON THIS

HE IS PERHAPS ONE OF THE BEST INFORMED SOURCES WE HAVE

MAKES ONE WONDER JUST WHAT OUR "SOLICITORS" ADVICE IS WORTH CERTAINLY NOT THE FEES THEY ARE CHARGING

Woofy,

Join into the seaterra owners site. You will have exclusive info to whats going on and answers to your questions there. Everything is up in the air at the moment and no one including Seaterra or Lawyers know the outcome.
