My mother will be visiting friends in Larnaca in August but will then want to visit my home in Fethiye,Turkey.Can she fly to Dalaman or get a ferry to Turkey.What is the best way to travel and how can I book this.

I have bben told that if she has been to Larnaca she cannot travel to Turkey is this correct ?

Hi Steve,

She can not fly direct to turkey from Larnaca but North Cyprus.

She should coross the border and take a plane from Ercan Airport.

Best plan is indeed to cross the border into North Cyprus (plenty of taxi firms will do this transfer for your Mum). Cyprus Turkish Airlines fly from Ercan to Dalaman (see http://www.kthy.net or http://www.gonorthcyprus.com ). She can then fly home from Dalaman to the UK with CTA or another airline offering cheaper charter seats, such as http://www.flythomascook.com.
