Hi Mike, the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel is very good and recently expanded/updated. We have stayed there 6 times over the last 4 years, including 3 Christmas breaks and we found the hotel, the staff and the food (mainly buffet style Turkish Cypriot) to be excellent value for money especially if AI. It's located a bit West of Kyrenia, about 6km, but the hotel runs its own minibus into town. There is a private beach and an outside pool, indoor gym, sauna and beauty therapy salon. Oh, and the obligatory Casino of course.

Merit Crystal Cove is indeed Alsancak/Yeseltepe. Friends stayed there about a month ago and i visited and sampled the food and hospitality on several days. Excellent food, service and facilities. Really is five star!

Ive stayed there many times. It claims to be a five star however it is no where the standards expected of a 5 star hotel in other parts of the world. At best it may just make it into the 4 star bracket. The food is very good I have to add and price wise it is very good value for money. Very rarely do you get any response from emails if you are trying to book direct so it is best to call them direct and book it over the phone.

Personally I'd click on the above tab, Tour Operators get far better rates than the Hotel offers the public.

Further to what ttoli has said I would like to add that it does pay to shop around. We booked direct with them on a couple of occasions and paid much less than what any travel agent could quote. There are times however it is the other way about.
