Try: Green Island Holidays. Plenty of good/"not too posh" hotels around Kyrenia (Girne). Would personally recommend Pia Bella or Altinkaya on the East side of Girne.

Trouble could be that central=posh! Colony, Savoy etc. The Pia Bella is easy walking distance (on the flat & 10 minutes) of central Girne.

Hi Eager Try the Ship Inn we went there in March this year and going again in August 2009. Excellent hotel and near the centre and they make you feel welcome and food is good. TONY.

Yes Charles it is close to town, so make sure they put you in one of the rooms at the back near the pool as the road leading in to town can be noisy, no, not too 'stuffy'
