We shouldn't have to sign a petition - he should just go. He knows the feelings of the British public.

Am I missing something here? Gordon Brown may well step down as the leader of the Labour party but who would take his place? We are not talking about elections in the UK at least not for another year so why does everyone think that Labour policies would change if Gordon Brown stood down?

Exactly AJ, nothing would change there would just be someone else at the helm steering the same course.

The petition will do as much good as the one demanding direct flights from UK to Ercan, and the one demanding recognition of KKTC.

I agree the we Kocks might not run from a fight Coachie but we do know when to leave before the mob comes in to save the day. The problem is that I believe the government has to recognise the legality of any petition, bit of a catch 22 really

Right on Bill - during the boom years he continued to take is into debt . We are no bankrupt with nowhere to turn. Labour are a shambolic mess and have destroyed our country Even now, they still refuse to curb the excesses of the public sector. It is an absolute disgrace.

Labour may well be coming to the end of theres soon.....Mr Cameron as leader.....now that is something to look forward too!! All a bunch of crooks and self interested twats. Give the Liberals a go. 13 mins to the end of my night shift. Night and god bless you all. T. |

Seeing as the public didn't get the opportunity to vote for him to be Prime Minister, he could at least have the bottle/decency/honesty to go for an election, or would that be the same as turkeys voting for xmas? Come to think of it, the words bottle/decency/honesty probably are not the best to use in connection with Gordon Brown or a lot of MP's come to that.

Not many people think like you Tiggy. Brown will go down in history as the Scot who took England to bankrupsy.
