Have Digiturk changed their basic package

Since returning from Thailand I have noticed I cant get onto a couple of programmes

Like channel 83 wildlife and 13 which is mostly films but also loads of series of CSI and Detective stories

Noticed that Digiturk had put their prices up this month from 38ytl to 43ytl less channels and more money cant be bad. Is anyone else having problems or just me

Hi Sheila. I sat down to watch Midsomer Murders last night only to find that Hallmark was

gone! I was furious so immediately contacted Digiturk on the internet. Got email reply back today saying I've got to ring istanbul Customer Services and talk to them about it. It does say on the screen that it will be back but I'd like to know when!! Nice to see you yesterday by the way!

Lovely seeing you again also, if and when I watch TV I always go to 13 to see whats on I like Jane Doe and police stories, I couldn't read what it said on the screen so I just presumed that the channel was taken off, please let me know if you hear anything, thanks

Sheila. I was in the hairdressers yesterday and they were all talking about Digiturk taking off Hallmark and a few others. I have changed my system now to Digital Supreme in Alsancak and so far so good. We get everything on there including all the sport you cant get on Digiturk. Lovely meeting you on Friday. Is there a big difference in the monthly payments from the basic to the Supreme, I love the Hallmark channel and sorry its been taken off, so do you get Hallmark with the supreme package.

After speaking to Customer Services in Istanbul today I'm afraid I have to report that we will no longer have HALLMARK as the contract has finished and they are not going to renew it. So long Morse and Midsomer Murders. RIP.

They have put their prices up this month and have the cheek to take Hallmark off so do we get another channel in its place, if they do it often enough we will have about 2 programmes left to watch, thanks Claire for giving us this info and taking the trouble to find out much appreciated, take care.

Didn't like Nielstat at first BUT once you get to grips with it is ok if you are only on hols!!



Different programmes on throughout day so some that are Arabic in the evening show English during the day so you have to flick a lot. Subtitles all the time unless someone knows how to switch off!!



But I like it now.

I have got Nilesat and am pretty happy with it. Fox Series and Fox Movies show some really good stuff although programmes are repeated on a fairly regular basis, that said if you are a fan of american series like Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, CSI Miami etc then you will be in your element. MBC 2, 4 and MBC Max show fairly recent programmes and films. There are also another 600 odd channels but these are mostly arabic and a load of chuff.
