Hi Zerochlor, been reading on the website & this stuff sounds perfect for my inflatable 'Easy set' pool (also was reccomended by TRNCVaughan on another thread!) Can you give me directions to your shop please (coming from Lapta) and also opening times. Many thanks, Maggie

Hi Pixie, I actually bought the pool from a lady on Cyprus44 so got a bargain - If you'r back & forth to the UK or got anyone visiting - they are quite cheap from Argos these days - or there's loads on ebay. Had mine 1 month now but it's still in the box till I get some chemicals to put in it!

Thanks, I will check it out. There are just so many different types. I had a look at amazon com. Im just wondering if I could find any in cyprus to save me the hassle of bringing it over. But if there is a huge difference in price I will just get my brother to bring one over when he comes next month.

I have no idea- but as we are currently renting this is my only option right now. And if we change houses or buy a house with a pool I can always set it up in our summer house....

Is that for the Zerochlor itself? What about a price for the regenerator, pH+ & pH- and test kit? Also, do you do a "set up" service to get new pools up and running? If so, how much?

How difficult is it to change over to Zerochlor and how long would a 1 litre bottle last in an 8x4 pool? (1 litre doesn't sound very much)

Twaddle, Based on the assumption that zerochlor is the same as PoolSan, the change over is simplicity itself - just add the zerochlor instead of chlorine (for you size pool, which is the same as mine) a litre bottle added at change over does the trick. Then add about 50-75ml once a week during the hot season and thats it. In the cooler seasons I only add around 50ml once every three/four weeks just to keep the water pure. Can't fault it and that is even when the PoolSan product I am using was for sale at £40.00 per litre - much safer and dead easy to use.

Thanks Waddo, I take it that as you seem satisfied that you have no problem with algae, as I have a recurring problem with my pool turning green.

I have a pool also turning green every two days. If you go in too the zerochlor office he will tell you what you need to do to solve the problem. It is caused by high synuric acid in the water, caused by chlorine, and is very dangerous to swim in.

if you read the message you will see it was a recommendation. So why start slagging me off, yes you will remember my son when he comes back into your shop. and my name is Lin not Jock, (arrogance)......... I certainly don't need to look for an easy cheap fix for nothing, can you also explain your remarks about a wet 1 and cabbage ect ect, would like to know where you are coming from. Are you a proper businessman?, or just full of self importance with a product to sell, With all my years in business I very well know to treat potential/customers with respect. Lin

Lin, you are welcome. Zero, I sent Lin a long email - too long to put on the board - giving my own (very amature) advice on how I solved a similar problem myself last year. This advice was applicable to PoolSan users and not to the zerochlor users, I saw no reason to clog up the board with a long and complecated message for only one person. This just to keep things straight and stop anyone wondering. I can email it on to anyone else who wants it but at their own risk of course, not in business myself, just an interested person trying to assist where I can.

Zerochlor. Yes my posting was a serious 1, I was trying to let people know the good advice you had given to my son. Obviously you don't seem to want to keep your customers. Still not given me explanation on wet 1 and cabbage. Your postings are very child like. Regards Lin (not jock)

lin whatever yo do don't do what he says and add a few more kilos of chlorine to your pool thats the most iresponsible advice i have ever heard and it could be dangerus it could be over use of clorine that got the synuric acid to high in the first place you need a proper analysis of your water by someone who knows what their talking about and has got the gear to test it ph and tds also need to be taken ito considaration if your water is unbalanced the situation will be unstable I agree with you that his atittude is very unprofesional he just sems to like joking about prostitutes and goung out and getting pissed and that dont think he nows how to treat people I can reccomend vaughn at octopus pools as been very good

Message 29 lancashirelad.please read Message 31 and of course do not add a couple of kilo,s of chlorine,im sure his pool maintainance company will advise him not to do that . As lindoc said in a later post his son had some very good advise from us regarding his problems with his pool.and as i have said in thread31. i read his post as sarcastic. and again as i said before if i misread it and it was a serious post he can accept my appology. This is my last post on the subject!
