| Hello again to all out there, It has been suggested to me that the longer term you agree to on a rental might mean a discounted rate. Could any of the landlords or other long termers advise me on this please. |

| Hi, proger1, It certainly wouldn't make any difference to me. It doesn't make any difference to the tax we have to pay on rental, so I fail to see why it should make any difference whether it is for 6 months 1 year or 2 years. I actually prefer a 6 month tenancy agreement and then extend if the tenants are taking care of the place. The butlers wife |

| I would let initially for 6 months and if everything was ok i would offer a discount on a 12 month plus lease. They could have a one week or a 10 year lease still doesn't matter in the TRNC if you try to evict a bad tenant i have heard one or two horror stories. The longer the lease the less time and money lost in re- marketing |
