| Just kidding! We need some curtains shortening and modifying, does anybody know of anybody able to do this? Preferably English, as it needs a bit of understanding, and curtain shops seem to be so expensive and not sure if they understand the requirements.

| Just collected my Nets from Exotic Fabrics in Karalangalou (sorry about Spelling) I am moving so had the nets shortened and one pair made into 2 Excellent Job of Massive Nets for 30 ytl the guy in there is an English Turk also had 2 wedding outfits done there last year very good. |

There is a lovely woman by the name of Fatma who has a workshop not too far away from you. She is a seamstress by trade and can handle any alterations. She speaks English and to find her you need to traverse the one way system in Alsancak until you arrive at the back of the Mosque. Her workshop is on the righthand side of the road and is the last building just before you get to the Mosque. When you see two large wooden doors then you have found her. If her workshop is closed then she can be found in the next house down on the left.

| Cyprusactive - from the crossroads in Girne going up with 1001 on your right you will come across a small clothes shop on the left with a sign on the pavement outside - Acem. Acem speaks perfect English and both made & altered curtains for us at a very reasonable price. |
