can anyone help? i understand you can only change cyprus pounds in the central bank of cyprus in nicosia. not only do i not know where this is i don't get across. i have asked some friends but they don't know where it is either and can't help. is anyone going and could change for me? it's not a great some only 22 pounds but has been given to my husband in tips from a customer who had saved them from a previous visit only to find out they are using euro and didn't cross himself. i understand that there is a time limit and don't want to lose out. i'd be greatful for any help. thanks

There is no time limit, just present yourself to the Central Bank in South Cyprus and your currency will be exchanged but is it worth it for £22?

" but is it worth it for £22? "

A ridiculous comment Mr Brinsley if I might say so.

£22 is food on the table for many millions of people, both adult and children the world over.

Please do tell, what would be the threshold for yourself that you could afford to write off as 'can't be bothered with'?

Best wishes,

Mrs Andrew.

Denise why dont you try and ask to the exchange offices. Sun is one of the biggest. So they might know a way to solve the problem.

thanks gaziali i'll do that, they may be willing to take them off me.

re mesg from Brinsley,

of course it is worth it for 22 pounds that was like around 66tl before. that will feed my dogs for nearly a month. i can't afford to throw money away even if you can.

thanks for your comments Mrs Andrews.

Make a statement with them, go to the border and burn them and dont forget to tell the press in advance, you will definately have got your monies worth then.

Mr karakum5c,

May I draw it to youe attention that the suggested act would most likely contravene the law, and as such should not be encouraged.

Ms Denise, one is most welcome.

I do eagerly await retort from one Mr Brinsley as to clarification of the aforementioned threshold.

Keep up the good work my dears,

Best wishes,

Mrs Andrew

julie.andrews - I fear one may be waiting a considerable length of time for Mr Brinsley's clarification.

I fear Mr B does not do "clarification".
