| can anyone give me a list of daily/weekly shopping prices (food) in the trnc as l would like to be kept upto date with normal shopping prices of goods. thanks |

| stick to local brands (inc. mainland Turkey brands) and it's quite fair. For example, 1 kg of tomatoes from the wednesday market is around 2.00tl. Drinks such as coke are 1.20TL per can (roughly 50p), so more or less same price as UK. Bottled water, which you cannot avoid buying, costs 4TL for 19 litres, whereas UK prices are £8.00 (19TL), so is 4 times cheaper than the UK. Milk however, isnt as cheap as the UK. British brands are naturally more expensive, due to the shipping and taxing costs. Stick to local brands........ |
