Does anyone one know if Atlas jet offer business class to Ercan? The blurb on this site says yes, their website says no.

I think they do offer Business Class, but not to Ercan.

Maybe it's similar to CTA who have 4 rows or so at the front with extra leg room, available for 'Frequent Flier Club' members, but normally used for the excess CTA staff who get ferried everywhere to find them something to do? ;-(

The 'excess' crew you see on CTA flights are there because some flight times exceed the maximum crew are allowed to fly, and to save costs. Crew normally stop over in Turkey where CTA can get better deals on hotels.

I.e. Ercan to LHR via Izmir.

From Ercan first crew work till Izmir then leave the plane, go to hotel, rest and fly later that day on different flights.

2nd crew then take over from Izmir to LHR and then the return LHR to Izmir leg which is a full shift.

I know some of the cabin crew and can tell you they work very long hours as even if they are being ferried about this doesnt class as actual flying/working time even though they still have to get up early to be ferried.

I would also like more opportunity of grabbing a seat with extra legroom as i am 6ft 2" but I also appreciate that the crew are on their feet all day long and have a lot of responsibilities so i dont begrudge them the perk.
