Hi everyone,

A bit of a longshot but was just wanting to see if anyone was looking to sell any garden furniture or sun beds... We are, seemingly along with the rest of the world, on a tight budget now and new stuff just seems really expensive - don't need anything flash!

If you have anything you can contact me via the forum or email

Try Ians Auctions - they also open as a shop now for unsold auction items.

Aladins cave, limited stock often three rather than four but cheaper than most and free delivery if required, enjoy your shopping .. great fun.

I bought the one from Botanica (6 set with parasol) and quite frankly it is rubbish! The slats on the table are bowing already (less than 3 months old). The varnish is already coming off and the wood starting to split. All the chairs are minus at least some of the nuts and even with nuts they do not tighten fully so they are a little "rickety". The only good thing is the parasol, oh and the parasol base which they wanted me to buy separately but as it was in the display I argued it should be sold with the set.. they agreed. Go buy elsewhere is my advice.

I bought patio table and chairs from Aladins cave. Very reasonable price and was delivered to my home before I returned from shopping. Spanna, I am not too good at giving directions but it is on the road heading out of Girne towards Esentepe, not very far, on the right hand side. Quite a small shop and easy to miss.

Aladins Cave - Look for the Star Bowling sign on the main road just past the K-Pet station on the left heading out of Girne. Aladins Cave is underneath the sign - well almost - its just past it on the same side.

Hi rutlandlad,

Ians auctions is I think known as Amanda's auctions as well. They are in Ozonkoy, take the road as if going to Bellapias, but when reaching the roundabout go straight on, it is a turning on the left before reaching the village. There is another auction sometimes at Chateua Lambousa.
