Just read on Frank and Joans blog some heartning news, a judge has rung them and told them that no way will the British courts ratify any thing regarding the court cases against the Orams etc until such time as things are sorted out for political reasons. lol

If I were cynical then I would ask if this was a judge on Britin's got talent! Let us hope that the Judiciary can find a way of keeping this out of a definitive ruling, I can't see how but I'm not a Judge and they are clever buggers when they want to be. Harold2555

Sonic Point taken but the Orams are defendants not accused as its a civil case and it doesn't say that they spoke to the Orams but a freind of a freind sort of thing. Harold

This is what Frank wrote. I have just had a phone call confirming an earlier suggestion. Apparently a senior British judge; and I don't mean John Deed, has confirmed that there is no way that the British courts will ratify the EU decision on the Orams case until such time as the island is settled, either by reunification or split. This means that they have clearly shot themselves in the foot as now they have to resolve the property issue politically before anything else can happen. Please don't ask me to get our friend to get this judge to put his comments in writing, because it ain't going to happen until the official hearing.

Having read all the above, I would just like to say that people like Frank and Joan who pontificate on all things to do with North Cyprus don't help a situation like the Orams case. Opinions stated as fact just set hares running and confuse people. If a judge did telephone somebody then he would only have had an OPINION on the case, otherwise msg 9 would apply! The only people to decide the outcome will be Lord Phillips, the Lord Chief Justice, and his fellow judges in the Appeal Court in London. Maybe Frank is broadcasting this confident stance because he wants to sell his house...?
