| Hi everyone Just wondering if anybody knows if Kayalar (is that spelt right?) was predominantly Turkish Cypriot pre 74? What is it's former Greek Cypriot name? Any other personal info about this area of TRNC would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Juliachcc |

| Kayarla formerly Orga was almost 100% GC pre 74. It is now predominantly made up of main land Turks who settled there in the 70,s Ther are a few predominate families (Turkish) in and around the village. Consequentlly most of the land around Kayarla is TMD.. ie it was awarded to Turkish setlers post 1974. |
