| Hi
I have got Turkcell 3G internet with what I thought was unlimited download card for 70YTL.
However recently has been very slow downloading films etc. (abou15 times slower)Phoned customer service and was told I have been restricted because I have been downloading large files in the daytime.
Told me I can't have the restriction lifted until after my next month card as apparently I have been had the restriction lifted once, after I first phoned them. (Nobody told me I was restricted at that point).
Now because I have been naughty boy again I have to wait a month!!!
Be warned!
Anybody else had the same treatment?

| Yes, pete I too have had problems but please check another thread from a couple of days ago as there is an email address you can write to to complain. |

| As with all companies the word "unlimited" is not the dictionary definition. All companies operate the "Fair Use" Policy when it comes to the term "Unlimited".
On broadband it's limited to 40GB at full speed then the service is severely slowed down, usually to 25% of the usual download speed. On Mobile Phone tarrifs it generally means 1000 minutes of network talk time, 2000 SMS messages, 5GB of Internet Access.
Always remember to read the small print! |
