Does anybody know how to check if an Estate Agent has gone bust?

Is there a company’s web site?

I have just paid my Lawer £ 2000 to tell me Turtlebay Properties are still active , TB are bassed in Spain .

I think you can get this info via a web site if you have the correct profile ?

I have just got this message on screen when trying to access the website for one I knew of that was selling TRNC properties for quite a few years until recently: 'account suspended until further notice' So I think it's safe to say they are a tad kaput!

Another independent estate agent who has sold a lot of property in and around Safa Koy as a third party for the developers, and who was trying for ages to sell me a flat on Hilltop as a 'safe as houses' deal with all sorts of assurances that I would be indemnified for at least what I paid off-plan if the land should ever be claimed back (which they assured me was a million to one chance and would never happen) is still selling in TRNC, but now using an 'assumed name' to do so. I wonder why?

I've rented over there and visit regularly but, for now, have decided to make my permanent base in the South.
