Fantastic setting with a lovely beer garden!! open from 5pm until late. CLOSED ON MONDAYS

right... i'm sure everyone knows where the GAU university is based. Turn into the road that takes you to the GAU, but before you approach the GAU you will find a road which leads to zeytinlik on your left, there is also a sign for THE STONEHOUSE PUB ON THAT CORNER... Drive up and you will see an old stonehouse on your right.

i am quite happy to promote happy hour, most customers that come in are getting a drink on me at the moment out of courtesy.. for a happy hour to really work for a pub there needs to be certain volume of customers who regularly frequent... thanks for your comment, i do understand your logic and i hope to see you at stonehouse soon...

5ytl a bottle for a new opened pub?????. Sounds pricey to me. Most bars in Girne are 4ytl and some 3ytl for draught .

Must agree a little high 5tl for a bottle of beer. I think the prices have just gone up for draught beer to 4tl in most bars now. Never understand why imports are so expensive as the prices in the supermarkets are not that high really. I was getting a litre bottle of red smirnof vodka for 19tl a couple of months ago.

Anyway enough moaning good luck Oz in your new venture I will call in and give you a look and introduce myself. I am the one with the big red shiny nose??? Hic

Hi Susie, unfortunately the price of bottled Carlsberg & Efes went up a few weeks ago, I don't quite understand myself why imports are so expensive in saying that the price of some local spirits have risen too!



With massive electricity & water fees along with all the other running costs that come along with having a business in the TRNC it was impossible to make any profit when selling a bottle of lager for 4tl.



At Stonehouse you do get salted peanuts, crisps & popcorn with your drink so I hope that kind of makes up for it )



I will have draught lager hopefully the week after next & I promise you it will be very reasonably priced..

My first visit last nite. A breath of fresh air, a very nice, clean, "Pub feel", not a white 80 metre converted shop unit !!. Nice court yard, nice decor, nice Peanuts, and Ozi, the owner, a nice guy. I will return !!!!

I went to the stone house pub about 3 weeks ago and had a great time - went around 7 o`clock and god knows what time it was when i left!! highly recommend it to everyone!

Spent another very pleasant couple of hours at the Stonehouse pub in Karaoglanoglu last evening. Nice to see they have Strongbow now and kept very cold , just the thing after a hard day's work in the garden!
