| dinky, £1500 was what we had to pay for contribution to transfomer connection, it seems to be the going rate. |

| This is about correct....it should be in your contract..if it is not, you are in a place to negotiate...suggest £1K..take it or leave it. If your builder wants to put £1.5k in your contract, negotiate this to £1.25k or lower hope this helps |

| It reminded me of this chap advising his son to bargain in all situations and always offer half. So one day he went to buy a pair of trousers and the stall keeper asked for 10 TL.
