Does anyone know which is the best hotel for aged parents in the Girne area. They are coming for a visit and need a bit of luxury!

Agree with Arthur about the Malpas, or as a second choice Jasmine Court Hotel. They have some suite rooms. That is a seperate lounge area and a seperate door to enter the bedroom.

Thanks I was thinking of the Malpas but the ratings in the brochure are not so good although more recent online reviews seem more favourable.

Try 'The Dome' centre of Girne, as it was based on 'Raffles' in Singapore which I'm sure your parents have heard or read about. Four star so should be okay with good disable access if needed. Richard

Before we came to live here we tried many hotels. We are both in our 70s and adore bellapais momestary hotel just going up the hill to bellapais near football stadium. Silver sevice breakfast the best ive ever had and also its an adult only hotel. you can also book half board and eat every night off the full menue the food is amazing.
