Well done and good luck in the Premiership. It's good seeing a small club do well. Nice to have another claret and blue team.

Fantastic nail biting result. It will do a lot of good for the town of Burnley.

Just hope that this doesn't let our MP Kitty Ussher off the line for "milking the system". She claimed over £22000 in her first year as an MP, which is more that what half the people in Burnley earn in 12 months, just to do her London home up which she had bought 5 years before becoming an MP. Good old Kitty. Wish I has access to the MP's green book of rules and claims.

For over 20 years I listened to the roar from Turf Moor, "COME ON YOU BURNLEY" I now live in the TRNC and I'm sure I heard it again this afternoon !!.

Well done To the management, the team and their great fans.

Be prepared for some serious football lessons next season.

Derek (Man Utd) and the other half, Gail (Burnley). There may be trouble ahead!!!

Well done to the clarets, had a few trips to Turf Moor back in late 60's early 70's and the atmosphere was great, plus it was not far from Manchester. The signing of Eagles must have helped.

Barry Kilby, the chairman, says the club will issue a full refund to the 7,000 people who bought season tickets for the 2008-09 campaign last summer. They will have their loyalty rewarded with a refund to cover the cost of their 2009-10 season ticket and ensure free Premier League football at Turf Moor next term.

Now that is what i call a good chairman.

Lots of assumptions about 6 easy points from all angles.......we will see.We have beaten far better teams this season than Wanderers have ever been, thats without spending anything yet ! We also aren't more than 20 million in debt....unlike Bolton !

Clarets ..Looks like he is on his way to Celtic!!!! No real Scot would pass up a chance to be in charge at Celtic. His C.V in future applications would look better with Celtic On it than Burnley especially if he has any ambitions..Who outside of Lancashire has an y idea where Burnley is.. Now come on be realistic and admit you stand a bloody good chance of loosing him...

Your manager Owen Coyle were did he learn his football then? Would that be at Bolton Wanderers? Wake up for your reality check. Burnley a typical Yoyo club (thats up then down again).

Clarets,

Message 27 if you have anything of interest please say it good healthy debate and all. But recently you seem just to post incoherent crap you are boring go and annoy somebody else. Better still i am sure you have a room full of patients to attend to rather than writing childish crap on here........

Forget it .. No doubt about it, you will finish higher in the Championship than Burnley will in the Premiership & Burnley will end up in freefall .. Bigger clubs than Burnley have .. Notts Forest, Southampton, Norwich, Charlton .. Clarets the numpty will wish Burnley had stayed down & challenged again next year instead of relegation ..

Tinker or should that be W****r ? Sad case indeed,Premiership and Championship are two separate planets in footballing terms, and something teams in the two divisions should not forget. The reason we wont go into freefall, is because we are not a big team with ideas above our station, unlike Forest,Leeds,Necastle etc. They are all virtually bankrupt....we are not.Our chairman has just bought season tickets for ALL last seasons holders. That is a magnanimous gesture which is unmatched in league history....not small minded at all.....unlike our critics on here!

See you've decided to come out of hiding following another season with no silverware for your mighty reds.

Cant wait for your next 5 years under the Spanish waiter RANTING RAFA my moneys on him gone for xmas.

Doubt if the kopites will forgive him next time he throws away a six point lead at the top mind you its highly unlikely you will ever be top again whilst RAFAs at the helm

Kenny b I havent been hiding anywere. I read and watch this bb but dont post to often ! The reason being is that there are to many T--ssers like you and your Manc friends posting so much crap. Ranting Rafa as you call him . Tactilly beat you lot twice last season and hey we might do it again next year.

Sad case indeed,Premiership and Championship are two separate planets in footballing terms, and something teams in the two divisions should not forget .. How would you know that clarets .. For you it is unknown territory .. Doesn't need to be separate planets .. My statement was Blackpool will finish higher in the Championship than Burnley will in the Premiership .. Why does football bring out so much aggression in people?

Clarets, as a so called educated person you should be less agressive with your football orientated postings.

Swearing, whether direct or implicated is the language of the uneducated.

clarets ..

You are missing the point .. I'm a Rovers supporter .. Been there .. Seen it .. Done it & got the tee shirt ..

Something I'm afraid is a bit out of Burnleys reach & the Rovers for that matter .. Still think Blackpool will finish higher than Burnley in their respective leagues .. Any bets ..

BTW where is the place you have got the keys for .. Maybe can watch the 2 derby matches together .. Provided you can be gracious in defeat .. LOL

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Tinker.....that would explain a lot ! I'm only too happy to meet and have a drink, and the loser of the local derby can buy the beers! Not interested in who finishes where in Prem/championship with Blackpool because it is immaterial and hypothetical.......and meaningless.Blackpool are still down there and we are in the Premiership and nobody gonna burst my bubble on that one!

I hope so too....we are obviously the pundits favouries for relegation, but there again....so were Hull and Stoke,so who knows.I've been supporting the Clarets for 33 years and never seen them in the top flight!

We have bought in Esentepe and are out on the 12/6 for 9 days then again on 8/8 for about 2 weeks. Cant wait......for either! Not ready to ditch Blighty just yet, though if that bunch of cretins win the election again, then bailing out may become reality.

Blackpoolfanny, you really are becoming rather boring with your monosyllabic responses that presumably are designed only to make yourself LOL. I rather like Littlenige's new name for you....rather poetic, dont you think ?

I have chaired and participate in more debate than you could ever dream about,so enjoy fighting relegation to the 3rd level of English football next season and as I said before.....we wont be coming to Bloomfield toilet next season because WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!
