The Clarets are feasting at the top table of World football again! It was the most moving sporting occasion I have been to. I took my 4 week old son - Ben.......he will not remember it,but I will never let him forget it. The best team won and we are back in the top flight.....after waiting 33 years for something, the whole thing is surreal. My patients are congratulating ME this morning, like I was the one that had done this wonderful thing. With all the nasty things going on in the world( usually political or religious or even both!) sport transcends the plights of many and makes the world a happy place again...at least for Clarets fans. Sorry Blackpoolfan....you were wrong and I was right ! Hope you get a manager who is at least half the man Owen Coyle is....you will have success if you do!

Well done to burnley as a lancastrian its always nice to beat a team from yorkshire. What is even more pleasing is i will be able to listen to them geating stuffed week in week out. Only a couple of months ago burnley fans were calling for coyles head on radio lancashire now he is a god, how fickle fans are.

Blackpoolfan....thanks for the backhanded insult....never gracious in defeat you seasiders.Come over and watch a team of footballers at Turf Moor next season....in front of a proper crowd! Coachie....Celtic with a very big offer? Anyone would just think Celtic had got into the Premiership ! Celtic couldnt afford him now...they should have made their move when they could.Anyway, why would he want to be demoted to the SPL from the real thing ? Taking bets on him staying!

Clarets ..hope you are right .But i think Celtic have a bit more Brass than Burnley and money is the name of the game nowadays.Loyalty in the football business counts for nothing nowadays..

Clarets, Not about being gracious in defeat ask any rovers fan they hate you more than the seasiders do. I don't care which league you are in as long as you lose same for preston thats how it is with some fans . As for a proper crowd you will be a wimbledon with more away fans than home. We sold 6,000 season tickets last year is it not right that your chairman is refunding your season ticket holders all 7,000 of them. Good luck for next season enjoy it for as long as it lasts maybe we will meet at yours in the fa cup i will buy you a glass of brown ale and a pickled egg...............

BlackpoolFan..Its right what you say about hating local opposition. We have two teams here in Stoke and when they were both in the Championship league you dare not go out on the nights of the local "derby",Like WW3 had been declared.Clarets seams to think Coyle wont go to Celtic,I think he has a shock coming. If he stays Clarets I will be the first one to apologise, but if he does go can I quote your msg 10...

Going back a few years BlackpoolFan, they met in the cup a couple of times as well.Think Vale are doomed as football league club now, shame though as they were one of the founder members of the football league. When they started to build Vale Park it was going to be the Wembley of the Midlands but it never got finished. Was planned 80000 capacity, lucky if they get 3000 now...

clarets .. Back in the 50's early 60's Burnley had a team to match any team in the country .. One of the first teams bringing through from the ranks some very good players .. Unfortunately today it's not a level playing field any more .. Getting established in the Premiership is far greater than you appear to realise .. At least 1 of the promoted teams always gets relegated .. All 3 get involved in the survival syndrome .. Enjoy your season, Burnley will be playing far different teams week in week out to the teams they defeated in the cup runs .. Should be one less team for Blackburn to worry about .. Look forward to reading your posts at the end of next season ..

Msg11,Coachie....Celtic HAD more money.......not now we are in the Premiership.......that automatically makes us more affluent than the entire SPL put together......check out our new revenues....Celtic will be most envious. News tonight is Celtic cannot afford Coyle and he states he is in it for the long run at Burnley !

By heck Clarets, I have to hand it to you, you certainly clogged this site up with your ravings. Some one at Turd Moor must be paying you. Now if you dont be quiet for a while I am going to tell Blackpoolfan that you were spotted in the Rovers shop buying a Tugay shirt.

Gentlemen, I have not been spotted in the shop......the Tugay(unfortunate name, dont you think?) shirt was purchased in cyberspace. Could not attend the shop in person as I havent had all my vaccinations for the Premiership yet!
