Type of DVD's available

We hope to bring a TV/DVD combi out with us and the DVD is a 'Region 2'. What are the DVD's for sale and rent out in NC - would we be able to use them or would we need to bring DVD's from the UK??

Hi Mr MAC,



As most of the DVD's are copies here i believe they are region 0, which work in any DVD player, whichever region they are meant for.



We have a region 2 DVD player here and it plays all of the DVDs we buy from DVD shops. The only ones it sometimes has trouble with are the VCD's which are CD not DVD and not as good quality.



In general DVDs are about 3YTL - 6YTL each to buy, whereas the VCDs are normally 1 YTL.

you can also open your dvd player up to play any dvd in any region if you wish .



just google make and model dvd crack codes and follow instructions

Yes, that's what I did back in England. Much better and more choice wherever you go.
