Hi,



Does any one know where I can buy a dome shaped clay or concrete kleftiko oven, the only ones I have found for sale are down in the south of the island.

you can get them in Nicosia. İn Gönyeli. İ know of 2 places that sell them. But i must tell you it is a very time consuming affair to use them. You need to heat the oven for a very long time (sometimes at least 3 hours) before you even put the meat in there, and once in another 2 hours for it to cook.We have one so thats why i know. They sell them in the petrol station forecourt at the station just before the roundabout going to Metehan.

Where are you? - if near Lapta, Hassans Yapi has them and will deliver and install. A good bloke and fairly reasonable price.
