can anyone advise me, where is the best place to purchase a family car from, looking for a zafira or vw touran

due to the size of my family and large childseats.

The Opel main dealer is just off the main roundabout as you approach Nicosia from Kyrenia - first left and the VW dealer is just off the main roundabout - third left. Keep checking the 'for sale' section on the forum as there are normally plenty of cars coming up for sale from expats.
