| Looking at the TRNC import web site they state that the import duty is based on the mid range Glass's Guide price.
Having gone to the Glass's Guide site they give a range of values. Trade in from £3800 to £2900, Dealers retail £7100 and private sale £5940 for this particular car. Does any one know how their car was valued?
Help appreciated.

| if the dealers retail is £7100 & trade is £3000 it will be about 5k, mid range thats the cheap bit. the cc is high depending on engine size |

| Glasses Guide gives three"Trade prices good fair & poor condition the retail price is what dealers should expect to market it at after it has been prepared for sale.
The mid price is the fair condition one between £3800 to £2900 about £3350 |

| Silghtly more confused! The TRNC web site says $US 3600 for cars over 2000 for engine charge whereas the other people say $US 4.02 per cc up to 3000cc. that comes to about £8000 a tad more! Also Duty is no longer 65.12% on non European manufacture but 28% is this current?

| you pay 28% of glasses guide so if car works out £3350= £1196 plus the cost per cc what cc is your car  |

| Catalkoykid I think 28% of £3350 is £938 makes it alot less. |

| $4 x 2982= $11928 = £7362 @ i.62 you need to work out what it will cost you to replace your car here, and cars are very expensive here |
