Probably going to get some stick for this

But He was a great Entertainer and a nice person, no one had a bad word to say against him

I met him a couple of times in a London Nightclub and he was good company, he didnt suffer for long and died peacefully,

Rest in Peace Danny

Jimmyboy63,

Yes he was gay. Never settled down with one partner but had several long term relationships.

He was 'married' to the entertainment business. "If I can, I will" was always the relpy to invitations and, more often than not, he obliged.

He could put on a show! Big Hairdos, over the top dresses and, well, the eyelashes! In his heyday he was a real entertainer sad to see that he has passed away. I can see him in my mind singing "On Mother Kelly's door step down Paradise Row ......." plus all the trimmings. God Bless RIP

Often seen shopping in marks and spencers in Blackpool, he lived just outside Blackpool he loved the town and felt at home probably because he was a queen amongst many queens. Did a lot for local charities and would attend the opening of an envelope, a true entertainer sadly missed RIP

Found it quite sad. Another entertainer - well certainly in his day, which lasted quite long. Met him once (he wasn't wearing a dress) and was an absolutely charming man. RIP.
