Hi Peter Just in the process of gathering quotes ourselves. Best so far is Freightbrain at under £3000 although you have to pack yourself. We are ok with that..I always wondered when the Kids would come in handy

I used Olaytrans at Magusa. Best prices. You have to pack yourself and it does take a bit longer, but it was worth it in the long run. Think I paid about £2,050. One firm quoted £4,500!

We used Olaytrans, they tell you the time they are coming, bring an empty container which you then pack. The driver seals the container, it arrives at your new home and olaytrans unpack. Excellent company

We used Pickfords as did our neighbours £3500 door to door, they packed and not one breakage. That was from Scotland our neighbours were cheaper as they came from the Birmingham area

Don't use Pearsons. They gave us a good price but stuffed up all sorts of paperwork and information which ended up costing us a lot of money also one of their packers "borrowed" quite a lot of portable goods which we didn't realise until we ame to use it - including CDs, gold ring, new bottle of perfume etc. £3500 is a pretty good price door to door if the company are going to pack for you and unpack ( we chose not to have our stuff unpacked a it was bedlam as the goods always arrive around 6pm so the customs guys get overtime) and you have a full container. Olaytrans did the deed at this end and were really helpful and pleasant sorting out all the paperwork needed at this end in advance. Don't forget to calculate in marine insurance - an't really give you an idea of price as it varies depending on the value of your goods. As for Sotos - maybe he/she should Sotoff!!!!

£3800.00 is reasonable subject to the volume shipped. If you contact http://www.bargateinternational.com we will give you a very competitive quote for an all inclusive door to door delivery.
