| Firstly all members are aware that this is an open forum and the topics and subjects can be read by anyone. With this in mind and the recent increase in thefts from properties which as I am aware the police have suggested could be commited by UK expats. I think it is of grave importance that members do not give out information on the dates and times that they will be away from their property dining with other members. Although the chances of readers knowing your address is limited, why on earth give them (the thieves) a chance. Please make sure that all correspondence with members regarding times that your property will be empty are made through private emails. |

| hi aslan, i think crime is just up in general and we all should be a little more carefull. only last week our friends shop pizzaland in karakum was broken into twice. the first time they got away with 30tl and the second time with nothing, but he still had to pay out to fix the door and locks. its actually on the main road, so people must be passing all the time and they still had the cheek to break in. |
