Quickest way from Alsancak to Polis Area

Help please. We have friends coming to stay in a villa in a place just north of Polis and they want us to come to visit, but I don't know any route other than over Troudos ! is there another way from Guzelgurt to the Polis area ,does anyone know.

The question itself, shows why there is a campaign for a new crossing point west of Guzelyurt. I would guess Alsancak to Polis that way would be about an hour, whereas the existing route must be 2 and a half hours.



As in all things, Gcs and TCs both sides of the green line want the crossing opened, but both sets of politicians are delaying, and looking to score points.
