oh news thank you. I had a couple of knocks all be them without substane cos i give to many kisses for gods sake. Also they knock me if a restaurant is mentionted. I dont i only respond whilst little lady rafters grapevive and all the indians can do etc It wares me down coupled with the fact i have probs with my kids in uk. I just want to throw the towel in. Never met you but your story is quite normal my love. People write things and it is flat - you can not see their eyes or hear the inflections in the voice that will change the whole meaning of what they write/say - quite often it is the cause of a major fall out or for people just making up their minds that you are not worth the effort. Do not let that sort of thing get to you, carry on and keep on posting. When you feel you are under an attack by some miserable git then just treat it the same as you would the junk mail that used to pour into your letter box in the UK - straight to the bin with it. Hilltop - Most people on these boards are normal sensitive humans who can be hurt by a pin or a stone and they also can be easily hurt by words. I have been on BB's to do with North Cyprus for probably the best part of 9 years and know just what unthinking comments can do. A few years back I was in two minds about if I wanted to be involved in any way with people who were being so uncivilised toward me / mine and my business in the TRNC (which was started partly to aid North Cyprus) and I am quite strong.



I do not know what or whose comments got at Lilli but if they hurt they hurt and I'm sure you would agree we should all try to look after each other.



Lilli - come on girl you are old enough and wise enough to not let them grind you down. You have many people who like you and a good team too.

I make jokes/comments and sometimes they appear sarcastic.



My comments about irrelevant posts was not in any way, directed at you, but at people who START irrelevant posts, ( as this is what we have to read before choosing our topic of interest) not the resulting contributors. This was my intention, but reading again, somehow I think it came out wrong.



Looking back at my post, I can clearly see, by the "xxxxxx" comment, that anyone reading it would feel it was aimed mainly at you and this would, make you very, very upset. This was my attempt at a stupid joke.

Yesterday lunchtime I went to Guidos first time and sat at the table. Soon Liz came up, had a look at me and said "I know you" pointing her finger at me!!. It was a lovely surprise and I must say she is a very very nice lady. The meal was very nice too. I had spaghetti Italian style, not Cypriot style where they overcook it. Thank you Liz, I will be back soon.
