Air/Sea search on the wests coastline

Is it just coincidence that someone mentioned seeing bright lights of the Turkish coast, I came up with greenhouse theory, someone else mentioned Tuna fisherman with a special licence and then we have two days of helicopters searching the Lapta and Karsiyaka coastline.

The helicopters have to do so many flying hours each month, so just getting their flying time in!!

Every year since we have been here in Lapta we have watched the helicopters doing this search and rescue exercise. Great to watch these guys they take some of the young soldiers out in a boat dump them in the sea and them the chopper comes to pick them up. You can watch this from just behind Anchor village on the shore and get a great view.

It could be the Americans doing a little 'waterboarding' TRNC is much closer than Cuba.
