Hi silvaqueen, there's a place in Lefcosia that sell chlorine, in fact I think they sell all pool equipment. I can't remember the name at the moment, but coming from Lefcosia towards Guzelyurt, it's the big building on the left hand side just after the speed trap, oh, it's called offsetsan.

Seba pool supplies is the place for 40 percent chlorine just after the moving sign over the roadway in Alsancak, but why not try Zerochlor@yahoo.co.uk and do your health a favour

With respect, SiLvAqUeEn, why waste your money on 'Out of date' and expensive Chlorine. If nothing else, think about the quality of water that you swim in. Get yourself a Floatron, go to:- http://www.agobard.com. or E-Mail:- sherwood@agobard.com

Message 1 Hello SiLvAqUeEn. interesting question you ask:can anyone give me an idea on where to get good quality chlorine from please! Well you would think all chlorine would be of a good quality if your paying good quality prices, ive heard it so many times in the shop, people telling us they are finding that they are useing more and more chlorine ,and if buying a more of a bargain price chlorine then they are useing twice as much. SiLvAqUeEn. if you give us a call or pop into the shop in catalkoy we can advise you of a couple of options. And i think you might be swayed the zerochlor way! Happy Safe swimming every1. summer is here!

Hi zerochlor, msg 10. When people say they are using more and more chlorine, I think "Cyanuric Acid". Stabilized chlorine contains CYA and the more chlorine you use the more CYA you end up with in your pool. CYA over 40ppm has a retarding effect on chlorine and you will eventually need more and more chlorine to get the same effect. Vicious circle, I'm afraid. Only one answer: partialy/drain your pool and start again. Alternatively, you could go for a low/non chlorine method like Zerochlor or Aligator. Take a look at: http://www.troublefreepool.com/pool-school/chlorine_cya_chart_shock

Message 12 TRNCVaughan Quite true . seems alot of people are having the same problem with Cyanuric Acid. i think your right vaughan, the answer is a low or non chlorine pool!
