What will happen if the BNP out poll the Labour Party in the Euro elections ?

Will Gordon Brown still soldier on like Adolf Hitler in his bunker giving orders while no one listens any more.

Yeah and I recall the wonderful 1980's and 1990's under the Tory government! Just swap one group of idiots for another group of idiots!

And never forget - New Labour under Blair was just a Tory government in Labour clothing! They sucked up to big business and built the bankers their fortune!

I believe that the only reason why the BNP will never come to power in any meaningful sense is that the vast majority of British people regardless of their circumstances are too decent to allow a group of facist and racist thugs govern such a great nation!

=> Hmm. Reading this thread I wouldn't bet on it, Moover... But, we'll find out the trend for the next years after tomorrow...

Hitler came to power on the back of economic hardship and disenchantment in the political classes, sound familiar ?

You guys have a point - but there is one difference - we have a 24 hour news cycle and we have an open media through the Internet! I also think that this economic downturn may (operative word may) not be as deep or as profound as people imagine it to be! This time around there has been concerted action worldwide and that may also be the lagacy of Gordon Bown!

I do agree that in the short term we may see an upturn in the vote for extremist parties or one platform parties but that will happen across the EU. There is a definitive shift to the right - but once the economic cycle turns it will hopefully revert!

Let's wait and see!

P.S. "Open media" is a relative term to the 1930's

It is a very stupid comparison, as Germany of the 30's was a very different

country, and conditions. To compare Brown with Hitler is just disgusting.

He is a good man, and I think he may survive this vicious onslaught. If he

doesn't we'll vote SNP!

You are joking my friend, the economic indicators are unemployment and house repossessions and once those bottom out then the long hard climb begins. They are nowhere near bottoming out as of yet.

such a great nation ???

we have allowed every nationallity to come to the shores ,legally and illeaglly .

even illeagally we dont send them back ,we allow decent tax payers to pay for them for 5 years or more in holding tanks until their case is heard .

a lawless society is more what we live in now in the uk ,where decent family men get killed on their door steps for trying to get drunken kids to stop terrorising neighbourhoods .WHY ....

because our police are less and less and have no powers .

we are becoming a mongrel race ,so face facts a change towards any nationalist party will be good .

yes i vote BNP and have done for 10 years ,no im not racist thug

i have my beliefs about my country

Kav! You are of course entitled to your view however misguided it may be!

If you are serious that the BNP (British Nazi Party) is anything but a racist party of thugs try to read their constitution!

So you want people like: Lewis Hamilton, Dame Kelly Holmes, Rio Ferdinand, Amir Khan, Sol Cambell, Ashley Cole, Nigel Benn, Frank Bruno, Joan Armatrading. Melanie Brown. Alesha, Jamelia to name a few to be sent back to their 'home' country just for being black or brown?

Do me a favour - if you have been voting BNP for the last 10 years to protect white domination - you are living in a fools paradise!

We are here to stay - we are here to fight - and ain't nothing you or that criminal Nick Griffin and his louts can do about it! Get used to it!

And for someone who claims to be loving his country - seems you prefer to live in the TRNC? I feel sorry for you - as you seem to be living in cloud cookoo land!

In my opinion the reason for the rise in support for BNP is that people in Britain are frightened that they are losing their identity, many people feel that the pc brigade and the powers that be are bending over backwards to keep everyone else happy and that immigration is totally out of control.

I find it odd that Scottish Nationalists are accepted without question, likewise Welsh Nationalists, but the phrase British Nationalist is immediately taken as meaning racist, so people feel they have to apologise for being British and proud of it.

Well said hattikins. We're now being marginalised for being British or English, Christian or Caucasian.

As for the BNP, I hold no regard for them. I will be voting UKIP as the only party that defends the British "identity" .

Not quite sure why we need 3 different threads for the same subject.
