Hi Negativenick, i did ask this earlier on another thread, but in case you missed it, i thought i would ask again... Who is this poor mythical and put upon Gary Monger and his missus? Are they real or ficticious...don't get me wrong, i totally love the little quips you make about them and they never fail to put a little smile on my face, but time is up now, i really have to know, are they real???

Jean asked the same question sometime ago & got a reply from Gary Monger, telling her "He was in fact a real person". We both look forward to Nick's postings, particularly about "The Mongers". Hope you are feeling better.

I must say Mr Mongers wife does take a lot of flack, i often wonder if she ever reads the postings, if she does, i'm not suprised she gives him a hard time...i'd have sacked him a long time ago! rofl!!

I think the Mongers do exist but I dont they they exist in the TRNC but we all love Nicks posts about them so to me they are real. I know Nick is for real. They must come for very very long holidays. I knew a Gary Monger once there cannot be two. Oh No xxx

Yeah lets get a photo up of them! I was also wondering the same thing about the Mongers but as i am pretty new to cyprus44 i presumed this had all come up before so wasn't going to ask! Its very funny though and does make me laugh but if poor gary mongers missus is real, i feel a bit sorry for her!!

Real ? of course they are real - Garry Monger's missus is the splitting image of Hattie Jacques and Garry Monger looks like the bloke off the Guiness advert...they are regular visitors to the "Tumbar" in Esenteps...
