Twin Management are pleased to announce THE BIG JAM.



The Big Jam is a 2 day music festival being held @ The Old Tunnel Rock Bar in Girne on the 4th and 5th of April 2008.



There is a line up of excellent acts from the UK, including the fabulous REDRAW band from Scotland and the outstanding SPINY NORMAN from Wales.



Also on the bill are the mega Blues outfit 'The BREAKAWAY BLUES BAND', who are gaining the reputation of being the No1 Blues act in the TRNC. These guys are a must see act.



Topping the bill are the one and only 'FUNKY MONKEY', described by Kibris Star as the 'Best Band in North Cyprus'. Fronted by the Welsh wonder kid Jonnie Hawkins, these guys know how to rock any venue and are not to be missed. You will not be dissapointed!!



And the fun doesn't stop there.....watch out for special guest appearances on each night!



Tickets for this event are on sale now and advanced bookings are highly advised as there is limited availability.



Tickets are 50YTL per night and will include a free drink and some other suprises!



Fun starts @ 7:00pm each night and will finish late....so get your dancing shoes on.

I have seen red raw before they are a excelent cover band, could well be a great couple of nights out.

The Old Tunnel Rock Bar is on the road between the Main Girne roundabout and The Colony Hotel. It is situated below the Anibal Restaurant.

I am really looking forward to this guys! Please, please if you've not already got a ticket make sure you get one because I know this is going to be brilliant.



I'm a huge fan of Funky Monkey and the Breakaway Blues - and how's this for a small world, the covers band from Wales is fronted by someone I was in school with and haven't seen for 20 years!



Trust me, if you are thinking you are too old for this kind of thing, don't let that stop you...I think the average age in the Tunnel on a Friday is 40, spanning from 20 somethings to 60-plusses!! Brilliant.

i saw the breakaway blues band and they are just great now they have a new drummer things are better no offence johnnie but your not a good drummer.

Hello..first time on the forum. Looks like a great site!



Not sure that this is the place for such personal questions, they're just trying to publicise an event I expect they are working very hard to put on for our entertainment.



Anyway, I've been to the Tunel myself a few times lately and I think Jonnies very talented. Best entertainment we've had in NC for ages. Funky Monkey and the Breakaway Blues have stepped the standard up a notch which is really good to see.

Well, now that's it's over I thought I would just say what a totally fantastic event this was. I would go so far as to say that it was probably the best weekend's entertainment available on the island.



If you went, you'll no doubt agree. if you didn't you missed a treat.



They will be doing more of this later in the year DO NOT MISS OUT NEXT TIME!

I was there too. Got tickets for Friday beforehand and enjoyed so much we went back Saturday. Well worth the ticket price. People put a lot of hard work and effort into it and it was a big success.
