Taking up trousers please!

Does anyone please know where in town (Girne or around) or does anyone on the forum have the skills & a sewing machine to earn a few bob & do a lovely professional job of taking up & hemming my fiance's trousers that I bought too long?

if you take them to Exotic Kumar in Karaglanoglu which is just past the post office on the right coming from Girne. They do all my alterations and are excellent and very reasonable.

Natasha, with all the wits we have on this forum I am somewhat suprised that no one has yet given their advice on 'taking down trousers' rather than taking up!

true ;0) although it's only taking them up that I have a problem with & can't manage, taking them down is fine!...Only my fiance's mind you ;0)

Ibrahim in Catalkoy opposite the butcher. He is a genius with his tailoring skills and very reasonable.

My feedback: Thanks! I did go to 'Exotic Kumaş' yesterday, amazing big place with a changing room & they took up the trousers as we waited, so fast! Did a very good job and very reasonable as you said nurseawful, thanks for the recommendation, will use them again if needed.

Glad they did a good job for you Nat, it is always a risk recommending somewhere! But I have honestly had great service from them and my friend gets her shorts tailor made from there and usually in 2 days.
