Great atmosphere (smoke free), wonderful views, cool & shady outside space for summer, really comfortable chairs indoors with log fire for winter, able to see the sun going down, choice of beers and wines (how about an english bitter if that's possible?); clean toilets; reasonable priced bar food menu; stainless steel clean and germ free kitchen; good company.

Yeah msg 10. Pubs should smell of tobacco, especially pipe tobacco. Smoke free, lacking atmosphere, full of folk who want to live forever, Bring back the old snugs and Victorian decor. Hot and cold carveries, Heaven. Sick to death of this clinical, minimalist dentist waiting room type interior decorating. Oh and ban PEAS from the menu. The lazy cook's choice which says to me that they really can't be bothered.

plenty of atmosphere, and a bit of live music a couple of times a week.and to suit everyone a smoking area.plus boddies bitter,if it has to be in the cans the one with the wiget in.i think i spelt that one right

motown music,i think most people will have a dance to this.

lets have a good knees up and forget about all the crap over land issues if it happens it happens we cant do nothing about it.

all the best to everyone gaz, that includes you redtom the football seasons over

rowlo i am a romantic at heart anyway but nights in a real pub with good old fashioned food I wold jump at the chance. Im Irish adopted by wales so we has great pubs. Got to say though nothing like a real irish bar anywhere in the world. Real black stuff and food to die for. A little bar we used to go to in Cork served the best seafood chowder in the world with irish soda bread. Washed down with the black stuff. Sadly Im not a beer drinker I only drinkwhite wine or fizz. I can understand the drinkers having a pint of Brains dark in Wales or the Guiness in Ireland xxxxxx

How about cocktails? Must be a few choice names for them we could dream up. 'Screwed in Cyprus' perhaps? 'Smoke gets in your eyes'

Bar Staff who know the products and have been trained to use the till before they start serving. A good live singer or group if possible or comedy night , a nice mixture of music from Rock N Roll to Jazz , a varied range of drinks, a good food menu that also caters for Veggie eaters. Wouldn't it be an idea to have a feedback form and ask the locals what they want, and if they reply with constructive idea's lay on some free food or Complimentary drinks .
