| turkey has taken over the united nations security council presidency for a month . turkey will hold the role of a supervisor within the decision-making process on leading international matters taken up by the security council. washington is the first leg of davutoglu,s visit where he will meet up with the us secretary of state hillary clinton as well as high ranking officials from the department of state,the senate ,the house of representatives ,various think- tank institutions and the media. the issues of iraq ,afghanistan ,pakistan,the middle east and cyprus are the prior items on the agenda ,davutoglu added. musin long live the kktc |
