Never been to Cyprus before coming over in couple of weeks to have a look at properties with a view to moving there. After researching many sites am confused about title deeds issue is it only PRE 74 TITLES that are safe?Would appreciate any feedback. Cheers.

hi killy, Yes, pre-74 are the only safe (and legal) titles. Don't buy unless you are 100% satisfied that the deeds are genuine pre-74 - and expect to pay a bit more.

If it was that easy. There is some controversy about PTP for pre 74 Turkish title deeds, are they easily granted? ismet

dear Tommy I buy / sell / rent quite alot in NC.....Suggest you look but do not buy...wait till the island is closer to a peace settlement ( hopefully, later in the year )...timing will be important.....what ever you look at will be still available in 3 months time.
