Apartment but No electrtity

Hi All



My apartment should be ready in May (touch wood, rub my lucky rabbits foor, hold my four leave clover and all that other good stuff), However just been told there may be no electricty up to it by then, As I am only back there for a few weeks (as I have to return to that terrible thing often know as work) is it worth hiring/buying a genreator, or should I just look at renting somwhere for a few weeks. If the latter any one no of nice apartments for short term (2 weeks) rent?
