does anyone know what the weather is like at the min, is it tshirt and shorts

during the day or winter woolies ?

Depends if you're a Local or a Tourist!



Tourists find it that it's a warm spring day with temperatures of 18 to 20, but needing a sweater a night.



Locals think it's still bloody cold during the day and freezing at night. So it's several layers during the day and a raoring fire at night.

just spent the last two weeks in TRNC and it was chilly to say the least. Never thought a hot water bottle would see the light of day but it did. It snowed on the hills behind us and every night was quite cold necessitating a fire on all but one night (and we were infront of the fire in the pub that night.

We got back from NC last week, stayed for four days, not a cloud in the sky - but cold at night.

whats the weather like in the trnc at the moment i am at home in the middle of the gale, house being rattled by the winds and rain i am out the from good friday for a week and am desperate for some sunshine

15:36 hrs in Catalkoy. Sun is shining. Light breeze. Very warm in the sun. Tan possible. Pool still to cold to swim in though!

It was raining a little in Lapta this morning when we left for the Airport.



It has been about 20 deg during the day, cloudy most of the time and a little windy. Hot yesterday when the sun came out for an hour or so.



You will need something warm for night time.

It was definitely hot enough for flip flops and shorts today. I saw quite a few sets of very white legs on my drive into Kyrenia!! We went to Kervan Pizza for lunch and it was great sitting over-looking the beach with a clear blue sky and the sun beating down. Actually it was a bit too hot and I had to move into the shade. Quite a nice cool breeze though. Tonight we've had the log burner on but it's probably warmer out than in.

Went down to the harbour for lunch on Saturday...flip flops, no sleeves, ice in my drink...marvellous!



Stopped putting the emersion heater for my water too last week so that is certainly a sign of the summer coming.



But yes, it is still a bit chilly at night.
