Hi All, I am not a football fan, but I would like to pay tribute to one of the best businessmen I have ever come across. I would not sell that lot a virus! Heres a cheque for £80,000,000. Thank you very much! I only hope the fans are shareholders.! There goes one astute cookie! wynyardman

hi clay its not the glazers that have sold ronaldo. hes pushed for a move for two years at least and there aint no club in the world who would turn that money down its shear madness. we have had unprecidented success scince the glazers took ownership, yes they borrowed big but they did there sums and were shure the club could meet the interest payments without hindering sir alexs buying. not what you could say about the the two american cowboys who were allowed to buy liverpool without the club doing any credit checks on the pair! look what shit they are in know . . now thats what i call a disaster. andy

times have changed though clayton . where as i understand "prawn sarnies" and keano . its more about being " a family club and game now" more and more you see big games where mum,dad and 2 kids sat in seats. all merchandising has gone throught he roof and you go down anyday of the week and all the day trippers stood having pictures taken. the game changed so the club had to ,look at the asian market we are big in . i would love to go back and stand in the united road and sway ,but thats life mate . bigger changed coming with scholes ,neville giggs all getting last season now coming . may even be the gaffers last one ? will nani fill ronaldos ?will we buy valencia and is he big enough ?,is tosic any good will he unleased ?tevez to stay ,or should we even consider that ? one thing for sure fergie the man kav

I think football has changed completely, nowdays footballers spend as much time on their arse as they do on their feet. In my opintion they are a load of overpaid wimps i would much sooner watch a good game of rugger anyday !!

Well said Cooper ! Trying to compare the soccer playing overpaid, prima-donna whimps to the Rugby MEN, of both codes, is a waste of time, the difference is unmeasurable !

Cooper and Mart bravo!! One question is to be asked, why do football pretty boys get paid triple the amount and more than Rugby stars when they carry more of a chance of injury!!
