ctd - The 3rd mussel was the same - absolutely vile. The waiter tried making a joke about it and askd if i wanted another NO THANKYOU. So we waited for our main courses - at 10pm we were still waiting when along came the same waiter with another starter for me Garlic Prawns !! I don't eat prawns. Off he went - manager came back with the garlic prawns it was like a scene for Fawlty Towers without the comedy element. Refused the prawns again. Main couses came eventually. Mixed kebabs so so - the scallops were miniscule (although quite a lot them) and bland - the swordfish was wafer thin, dry, and a lovely shade of dark grey - the medium plain fliiet steak came in thick creamy mushroon sauce. No steak knife and by god was it needed. Even Jaws from the Bond films would have trouble chewing through it. It was also very pink and rare. Waiter took it back and returned 5 minutes later with the advise that it wasn't really blood nor rare it was simply the lights. If, he said, continued

- we took it into the kitchen it would be better in that light !!!!!! Come on - we have heard some excuses but that was a cracker. After much discussion about the ambiant lighting ha ha he offered to get another steak. At this point is was nearly 11pm so we decided enough was enough and aksed for the bill.

The bill came and first on the list was a bottle of white wine at 25 TL - we had struggled to get drinks thoughout our wait for meals and had not had any wine at all. Then shock horror - the starter meze (which arrived on one small plate) was charged as 27 TL !!!!! After going through the bill item by item with the waiter he wnet away and the wine price was removed and the meze reduced to 10 TL. He also agreed that the mussels and steak would be deducted also. Total bill was 310 TL.

We had asked to speak to the manager but apparently he was busy with his friends and couldn't come and speak to us !!!!

It was a dining experience to be missed - it was Shayte !

Been there three times on live music nights and had a great time - one of the few places the bar staff are attentive. Admittedly have not tried the food so can not give an opinion but a great place to have a laugh, dance and a drink. BUT we are always naughty and stay up past midnight (have a nap at 6pm to re charge the batteries) and throughly enjoy the band! Nice to see life after nine pm not the usual british exodus to the car park.

Hey sally. i agree.and also have not eaten there yet,but a super place to drink and chill,will try the food there some night, i did think waiting until 12 oclock last night for the band to play was a touch to late,but still a great night.

what a shame you had a bad experience, if it's Shayna your talking about I went last night and had a wonderful meal, chops were cooked to perfection and my friend had mixed kebab, thouroughly enjoyed it. I have been before and had fish there which was overcooked for my liking but then again I find that with most fish cooked here. Ambience was great. It's such a shame you had such a bad experience.

Yes - Parkview had such a good time their with her mate Sureya, she did not get in until 2.45am!!!
