Does anyone know if the pork shop is still open, if so where abouts is it situated, do they sell chicken and burgers and such?

It is opposite Starlings supermarket. I have never shopped there so don't know what they sell, but their shop front advertises turkey, pork, ostrich among others I can't recall.



I have eaten sausages and spare ribs that a friend bought there - very nice.

sissy........yes, they make their own beef burgers.

They also do Cumberland sausages, pork spare ribs, pork chops, rabbit, legs of pork, loin of pork, pork fillets,

rib of beef, steaks....



Reasonable prices too.

Yes they are open 6 days a week, close 7pm and closed on Sunday.



Always had nice meat there and the lady speaks English and is very pleasant.



We have bought pork, steak and sausages there and all are very good indeed.

Agree with all the above. Been in there today to buy chops, burgers and sausages for the barbecue.



The food from here is always good and we use the shop regularly.

Bought meat from him on a fairly regular basis and always been happy with it.The owner of this unique pork shop in the north, is under tremendous financial pressure. So come on every one give a good local business your support.
