Which in your opinion is the best Chinese restaurant? Tried Mr Chuns but food too salty and most of the dishes tasted the same.

Ace It is part of the Rocks Hotel which is on the front to the left of the harbour, past the Dome and Niazis, or if you walk down the high street to the end where they are doing major road works, cannot take car that way, turn rıght and it is on your right at the bottom.

Mr Chuns, 0/10 (Worst Chinese meal I have had in my life!) Chopsticks 7/10 (Very tasty, but was left hungry) Karakum takeaway 3/10 (8TL for 2 very small spare ribs) most of rest went in bin.

Agree with yellowbelly, My Chuns is dire. From a very poor selection it has to be Dragon, staff very good and decor lovely, however, it's only the best of the rest, because the rest isn't the best.

I like Chopsticks in Old Turkish Quarter. Nice food and good value. Chinese food is always expensive compared to local restaurants. I also like the Dragon but it's far more expensive and the last couple of times the service wasn't great. They tend to rush you and it wasn't because they were fully booked.

Chinese House lapta road, Girne is the best in my eyes. I have tried Mr chuns and I do not rate it at all. Rocks was okay, but very expensive. Also if you want a good takeaway for Chinese the Chinese and Sushi takeaway next to Lemar in Karakum-Girne is very good.

Can't recommend agood Chinese as we have yet to find a good one. However I have to agree that Mr Chuns is awful. The lamb in my curry was tasteless, stringy and full of fat. To be avoided at all costs in my opinion.

I think that the chinesse at the mecure has now moved to Lefkosa, I went there (to Lefkosa) and it was great!! My kids love sushi and I have to say they do eat adult size portions of it. the 3 of us had sushi, I order way to much and ended up getting a doggie bag, we also had thai wontons and soft drinks. the price was 100tl. The service was fantastic and to setting lovely. For Girne I always go to CHopsticks, I find it very tasty and the take away menu is very reasonable as you get the rice or noodles free. Angela

Hi Big Man, if you park in the new car park below Turkbank on Ziya Rizki Caddesi, walk out through the narrow one way entry and turn right down towards where they're digging up the main road. Turn left at the roadworks towards the sea and Rocks is on the right at the bottom.

My favourite is The Laughing Buddha, up the main Lefkosa road. Always great food and a beautiful view over Girne at night with all the lights on. Reasonable prices with great food and friendly staff. My choice by miles every time.

Just got back from China Garden in Catalkoy, superb meal, great service and only 15TL more than last week when we sat in the carpark next to Lemar eating from paper plates with a plastic fork. Definitely worth it.

I vote for Chinese House opposite Ship Inn. The new chinese take away near Lemar Karakum is good too. (When going from Roundabout to Lemar Karakum, it's just before Lemar on the right side in the "shop complex".) They are very quick. You order and 2 mins, you are good to go.

Dragon definitely THE BEST followed by the Chineese House opposite the Ship Inn. Tried the Laughing Buddah once and it was dreadful and expensive "A big Laugh".
