on a recent walk and in need of a liquid refreshment i came across a bar just off the main road bar 8.8. got talking to an english lady who co owned the bar. we talked about prices and entertainment among other things. live entertainment is on saturdays and wednesdays and not your run of the mill. from what i can gather it is local bands, singers singing both turkish and english music. pint of effes is 3.5. myself and my friend were made realy welcome and have promised to check out the live bands will post my views later might have stumbled on a treasure here. i have also told rabina who is the co owner to join cyprus44 to tell people of events going on.

sorry lilli i must of forgot its only you who can post about your bar and no one else can praise another bar. i found this bar to be very friendly and very reasonable. i went back last night and the place was packed and very lively. 2 birthday parties bought both birthday boy and girl both came over and thanked me.just like to tell people on this forum to give it a try singers on a wednesday and saturday. i thought this board was to let people know good things here and not just put snide comments about anything and everything

Yes Bar was once called Roadhouse

Bar is open daily from 1300 hours

Yes music offered Wednesday and Saturday nights, license permitting!!
