Varosha is just a bargaining chip used by TR and we ALL know it will be in the GC part of the island

neither of us can know what will happen in the future, wishful thinking aside obviously



while there has been little or no sign as yet of any breakthrough on the cyprus talks,

There was the Annan Plan for return of the Varosha to Greek Cypriot control but Greek Cypriot voters rejected that plan with out realizing the actual fact. But its not ended yet Governments are planning together to make Varosha beautiful as it was before. Till now three concept hotels are designed by Laxia Inc. in 2010 it will be opened for the tourism by Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.



It looks as though it will be given back to the Cypriot people............

1/ YES, I believe the talks - which are still on going WILL be "successful" - ultimately successful in bring about permanent solution to a very unsatisfactory one - for TCs' rights and all displaced Cypriots..

"North Cyprus" *is* part of the RoC - officially - and THAT is part of the "problem " for TCs and folk buying on disputed land.. THAT is realism ..
