President Mehmet Ali Talat and the Leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Dimitris Christofias will hold a trio meeting with the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso on Wednesday.

An aide to President Talat told BRT at the week-end that Mr Barroso will pay a visit to the President on Thursday.

On Friday, the two leaders will meet for further direct talks as part of the Cyprus peace process launched in September.

The leaders will continue their discussions on the chapter on territory, which is the fifth topic of the talks. How many topics are there?

On another note, The Turkish Minister of State – deputy-Prime Minister Cemil Cicek has said that Cyprus is the most justful cause of the Turkish foreign policy.

Speaking at an event of his AK Party, Mr Cicek said `Cyprus is a national cause for us. It is the most justful cause of us`.

`Whenever there is a vote at the United Nations, we receive the support of only 6 countries in spite of some 55 Islamic countries which seem as if they are our friends` he said, adding that this shows that Turkey has failed to explain its position very well.

But, he noted that Ankara would continue to support the Cyprus cause and to follow closely the developments concerning the issue.

G. I wondered how many topics there are left to discuss, if the current one is the fifth?

Perhaps the world, including Islamic countries, have had enough of Turkey's law-breaking on the international stage.

Perhaps Turkey should look towards Greece as a role model towards EU acceptance or indeed the United Nations.

Any suggestive areas where Greece had to improve or comply would be very much appreciative and such advice could be utilised or given clarity by Turkeys administration and delegation at the next proposed meeting.

Its healthy to talk and communicate in this way and your advice, concerns and improvements will im sure allow for gauranteed resolvement in the near future with a final hand shake.
